Wipers seem to have better base pay but less overtime than SU, and OS seem to be in the middle

Yeah give or take. But I'm making out better as a wiper. At least on this ship

Ok that book sounds super interesting I might have to buy it. The last WW2 book I read was non-fiction and super depressing. For us e-book readers and tablet users...what's the Wi-Fi situation like onboard? What does that sign say above the thermostat control knob? "If you touch this thermostat we'll call your dad to come ground you." ??

Hi Mike. I found your channel, and I'm binge-watching a lot of them. Could you do a video with the cooks on board? What's it like with them? I spent 20 years in the Navy as a culinary specialist. I retired in 2009, but I'm thinking about MSC now.

@@MikeMills1 Is it similar to making money? Does NOAA do overtime like MSC?
@MikeMills1Күн бұрын
Yes from what I've heard

What drills did you do Mike? How seriously do they take them in MSC?
@MikeMills1Ай бұрын
Depends on ship. As long as they get done it's not that big of a deal.

My friend: I strongly urge you to read (or audio books) by Joseph Conrad. He was a seaman out of Marseilles France about 1900 and one of the best writers ever! His descriptions of life at sea will greatly enhance your experience as a seaman!!!!
