Did you have to make adjustments to the blue cog? I saw another video where it wasn’t close enough to the corresponding cog, which would’ve resulted in it getting damaged over time

Yeah I agree but alot of people enjoying investing in their hobby and I remember how cool it was to gift my first bottled beers to friends and family

Reasonably Priced???? 400 pounds for doing what a 20 pound bottle capper does is reasonably priced? I thought these things purged and filled the can at least. Ya, I'll stick with bottles or I'll go out to my garage and build one. A motor to spin the can and two form rollers certainly isn't rocket science. Way way cheaper ways to impress people. Folks can spend their money how they want but I see very little difference in technology between this machine and a fancy can opener. All the respect in the world for coming up with the machine. However this is literally the poster child for the saying "a fool and their money are soon parted."

I can understand the price tbh, you have to remember that's 400 retail. There's vat on that at both the production level and again when sold to consumer. However I am always one for saving a buck and an also interested to see what you've come up with yourself. Have you started on building your own canner?

Im working on the same project using an old and cheap drill press as a starting point, only thing keeping me from finishing the project is the difficulty of pressing the seaming rolls onto the lid in a repeatable and consistent way... everything i could build myself was way too janky. So far i've spent roughly 150€ for the rolls, turning table, other parts from cannular and the drill press. 400 retail seems very fair honestly, i try to construct my own basically just for the fun (and frustration) of it.
