For those wondering...chill the 5 lb tank first, freeze it if you can. If your larger tank doesn't have a siphon straw, then invert it during the process, but don't invert the smaller tank. Connect the side with the bleeder valve to the smaller tank. (wear gloves for this next part). Open the valve on the big tank, and then open the bleeder valve until liquid co2 sprays out the bleeder valve, then close it (this purges oxygen). Now you can open the valve on the smaller tank. Wait about 5 minutes, even though really, it's done in about 30 seconds. Then close both valves and open the bleeder valve again to release pressure before disconnecting. The part you are looking for is a "cga320 to cga320 transfer hose". Put that in any search engine and several will pop up. If the empty tank has a residual pressure valve, you need to open that tank valve first, and then very slowly (*very slowly*) open the other tank until you can just barely hear a his - like 1% of a turn. Let it trickle for about 20 seconds and then you can open all the way.

Short and sweet. Thanks.

Just bought one of these from you and my instructions say to open the CGA 320 valve on the large tank first, followed by the valve on the small tank. In the video you do the opposite. Can you clarify best practice?
