They opened a new brewery in Windsor, Ca, I suggested to the brewmaster an unfiltered Pliney.. Great place, 10 acres, increased production. Toni says "hi".

Wouldn't an unfiltered version of pliny do nothing more then just change the apperience? I don't brew beer so that's why I ask. Also, what did the brewmaster say to your idea?

I lived right by where they were building that brewery. I'd drive right by it on my way to work back then, after trying the beer when I turned 21 I was damn excited to visit it myself.

Awesome review as usual! I started cooling my wort to 180 and then steep hops 10 minutes. then dry hopping about day 3 day into fermentation. Gives me a very hazy, juicy hop flavor and aroma.

Northern brewer has the version of Pliny the younger they call it Plinian Progeny Triple IPA beer kit for $99.99 with 3 hop shots and all kinds of hops. I missed Pliny the younger last time when it came out in February. Over here in California have to find locations stand in line for hours just to get a pint or sometimes a raffle. Cheers!!!

Chris Crap Los Angeles I could go to Beechwood brewery in Long Beach, Hollingshead deli in Orange, and 38 degree bar/ restaurant in Alhambra. But when it comes on tap I have to wait in line or At Beechwood they sell raffle tickets to drink Pliny the younger

We have a market out here that when you ask for it they bring it out the back 1 per customer. When it's beer week everywhere has it over here. Pliny the younger is a different story.

RAIDERTONY 323 Yea bro even at Hollingshead in Orange 1 per customer one day I got lucky they sold me 2, also 38 degrees in Alhambra sold me 2 give them a try. I been to Ramirez but never asked for Pliny the elder, but now I will when go get some gangsta tacos down there Cheers!!!

apple and oranges, pliny is a west coast double IPA, trillium and tree house make New england IPA's and PA's

Yeah, Pliny is pretty good, but you're right... Tree House and Trillium beers in the same style are a bit better.
