@DurantandFriends Thank you I've had quite a lot to deal with this past month. (College finals, moving, break up, family emergency, finding out family member is one of the worst types of people) that I've been feeling boughs of depression and demotivation. But I've been trying to use what little motivation I have for pre-existing resources such as library books and my gym membership. But I'm feeling better and Enthusiasm now. I'll will go over Ion and at least 3 Durant videos before the new year.

20:30 - There might exist a city called Heiligenstadt near Göttingen - but Beethoven's Heiligenstadt where he spent year 1802 is a place close to Vienna, today it is even part of Vienna. And the house where Beethoven stayed still exists and is preserved as a Monument of Historic Interest.

Are you asking if Nietzsche preferred Beethoven over Napoleon? If so, the answer is no. Nietzsche did admire Beethoven, or at least when he was younger he did. In "Birth of Tragedy”, Nietzsche called Ode to Joy “Dionysian. And in "Untimely meditations", Nietzsche says Beethoven plays an important role in music. However this development is only brought up in context of Wagner’s musical development. Which it very much seems he regarded as a superior composer. Also Beethoven was an ardent supporter of the French revolution, Democracy and Anti-aristocracy in general. Nietzsche absolutely detested all three of these things. And it is in this context that he praises Napoleon in basically all of his books, as Napoleon honestly and successfully (mostly) sought conquest over all these things. The only person Nietzsche seemed to admire over Napoleon was Goethe.
