Couldn't agree more. Obviously, it couldn't have been planned this way, but as it turns out, the timing of this project is perfect. It has given me a little something to look forward to at a time in which it seems there isn't much to look forward to. My only regret is that Beethoven didn't live longer and write as many sonatas as Haydn wrote symphonies!

I won’t talk about the music, you’re musicality or your understanding of the Beethoven sonatas; others are on the case; what i would like to acknowledge is your aesthetics, the “ studio “, the stands for the mics, what you wear, the ambiance, the “ modern “ setting of it all, the different lightings for each sonata, the positon of the cameras ( not one at the tail of the piano showing us your face in whatever mood or expression the music commands) and every other little details in your surrounding. For once we are not transported in castle, a 18th-19th century hall or room or whatever.Thank you also for that and the music and you’re take on Mister B’s piano sonatas; “ the new testament “ i believe? One last time; thank you for all ! Hope you come to Montreal, i will be there. By-ye !

I am in absolute awe of her style! The expressiveness, fluidity, dynamics, tonal quality and technical mastery of not just her instrument, but the interpretation of each composer's essential intention of each work and the embodied translation to the listener may only be compared to the late Van Cliburn in my opinion. It is exquisite and breathtaking to behold! I am, of course, an American (USA) that grew up with him as the gold standard for classical piano as he certainly was also considered by many internationally. I also play and enjoy many genres of music. Valentina, again like Van Cliburn, is reaching rock-star status for many. I believe she deserves this as she is and has earned it. I am truly excited and humbled to watch her career and her performances. Thank you so much, Valentina! I hope you achieve the stars and beyond! -A huge fan!

By far your best Beethoven interpretation yet, imo. Not many pianists seem to "get" this piece. Made my evening! Edit: Also, I can't help but be absolutely floored by the quality and ease of your technique. No jerky movements, weird hunching, nothing. Just natural movements with fantastic expression. So that's how the first movement goes... looked at it for 40 years could never make head nor tail of it. The second movement... the right hand and left hand are identical in tone... as a mortal there are bits I play cross handed to maintain the sound. The finale just sparkling. Simply the best recording of this ever!
