Can’t help thinking how thrilled Beethoven would have been to see these fine young musicians playing his music with such attack and passion more than 200 years after he’d written it! Such is the miracle of great art.

I am more and more impressed by the musicianship of young performers: sensitive, dramatic, light, spirited, dazzling. Music is in good hands for the future. Bravo for the excellent teamwork of this group!

Beautiful performance. These youthful musicians, playing great chamber music, are the way to go. They come at the music afresh, and you get to hear it fresh, every note. What a pleasure!

Perfect ensemble, perfect pitch, glowing tone.....who could ask for anything more...except...when are we going to be able to go to their concerts here in England? Thanks to SoundProfessional Boston for this little miracle.

Hope there still together! Really in joy there playing and love to here more of there work! I rather like how they play this of the most famous string quartet of all time. Someone made the comment that they thought the first movement was play to fast. I hear that Beethoven was particular about temple but I not sure what is mark so others will have to be the judge of that. From what I heard I love what did with it. I did enjoy the 2nd and 3nd movement as it was a little slow then a lot of group will play it. To me hearing this at this tempo bring out so much of Beethoven writing and how well this is crafted. You hear the tones so much better with the richness coming so much more! I truly did enjoy this so much!

Bravo! Genial! Por mucho años he escuchado este cuarteto por los mejores intérpretes, y estos jóvenes estan a la altura de cualquiera de ellos.

It seems that everyone wants to play the first movement much too fast, resulting in blurred 16th-notes. As I understand it, Beethoven wrote something like "Allegro con brio", not "Presto".

First and foremost: I think your music making is great. Not immediately decisive, but still important to me, it is for your rather loose and sometimes colored clothes. I always find the otherwise common, black "uniform" of the musicians horrible!
