Early in the video so you may say this later but I’m assuming that if this is a success they have a third final movie planned with Jenna taking more of a full on role after Lydia dying potentially in this film, the title being Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, is definitely hinting towards a Beetlejuice Beetlejuice Beetlejuice

Im honestly disappointed that they didn’t come up with more creative ideas (visuals and jokes) for this LONG awaited film. For example: the escape artist and the Santa - THATS what u come up with? Here they could’ve done EVERYTHING. And it feels q bit by the numbers - why are Hollywood writers soooooo uncreative today? Still excited, but this trailer was kind of a downer for me 😟

I really think that this story will involve Beetlejuice trying to marry Lydia again. This is why we see her in the same red wedding dress. Perhaps Jenna Ortega's Astrid will be taken to the underworld and held captive in attempt to for Lydia's hand. That's why we see her slowly fading away while Lydia and Deelia visit the underworld trying to save her.

Agree the makeup effects could be better. Looks like they phone it in, while the original makeup makes BJ look more rougher around the edges, with more grime. If he's going to be more haggard than the the OG BJ, the makeup should reflect that. Right now, it looks too clean, even for an undead guy.

I believe Astrid was kidnapped by some members of the dead. So, Lydia has to go to the afterlife with Beetlejuice, in order to get Astrid back. But, of course, Beetlejuice wants a favor in return. And really, he wants to Marry Astrid. 🤷🏽‍♂️😆
