I would love it if Beetlejuice Beetlejuice issued in a resurgence for Tim Burton bashit unhinged films. We need another Mars Attacks and Sleepy Hollow type film.

You nailed it with Speak No Evil … the only thing that made the remake good was James McAvoy. 👍 The fact they changed the ending of the original was ridiculous. I watched the original at least a year ago, and it still lives in my head rent free. 🥴 Watched the remake 3 days ago … already forgotten everything except some of McAvoy’s parts. 🤷‍♀️

In honor of the late James Earl Jones, which one of his movies in his filmography that you haven’t watched before? For me, I haven’t watched The Ambulance, which is from Larry Cohen, the director of the B-Movie cult classic Maniac Cop movies that scared the hell out of me growing up.

Your comment made me think 🤔 I can't recall any movie with him in it. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Getting old

Really, really looking forward to upcoming movies like Wolfman and Robert Eggers' Nasferatu. Horror seems to making a huge comeback.

I rewatched parts of *Dune: Part 2* during a long flight. It reaffirmed my belief that it is the best film of 2024. *Dune: Part 2* has the same epic scale as “Lawrence of Arabia.” It has everything you could want from a cinematic experience. The only film standing in its way to supremacy is Eggers’s “Nosferaru,” but I doubt it can dethrone the Lisan al Gaib! The Muad’Dib! The Timothee C.!

Michael Keaton is a national treasure. Always brilliant. He made Burton’s films better than they had any right to be. Same goes for Depp. Think he had to cleanse the acting palette after Batman overshadowed so many great performances.

Haven't seen the movie but Matt Walsh is actually really funny. His Sarcasm/cynical type of satire is sometimes and acquired taste. But he's a very smart guy. Still not sure if I'll see Beetlejuice in the theater. Not interested in Speak no Evil.
