Daaaamn... It's closing? I wished so much I could go cos I don't live in US and I don't have an oportunity to go there now or anytime soon. That's so sad and I don't mean it just in terms of my own situation. People who aren't familiar with this musical, all the new generations - they all will never see this masterpiece live... Ofc there are lots of things online but it's not the same and without live performances content about them on the internet might slowly start to lose its popularity and then the chances that ppl will see it on the internet are becoming relatively low... If my possible future kids are gonna be able to speak English(or if I'll,maybe, try to make my own subtitles. But enjoying it fully in original is so much better,especially considering that jokes are so much funnier like that) then I'll definitely show them the movie and the musical! Possibly also a cartoon but that's only in case if they'll love either the movie or the musical or both cos I ain't gonna force them to like it (but movie and musical are kind of a must cos of the cultural impact and cos watching series of smth takes more time and the cartoon is also more childish at this point and new generations mature(sorta, at least in terms of content they watch) pretty fast).
