Amazing when you think about the original only being Tim Burton's 2nd Feature film (Pee-Wee's Big Adventure being the first). Which paved the way for Batman (1989). Have to wonder if Batman would've been made if Beetlejuice, this strange little film, wasn't such a success. Can't wait to revisit this unique world again!

When I was a kid Beetlejuice was one of my favorite movies. Surprising to me I ended up becoming a medium (kinda like Lydia Deetz talking to dead people). It's surreal to watch them talk about this movie and not consciously realize what their souls know about the afterlife.

Let’s be honest folks, Jenna Ortega is a natural choice to play Lydia’s daughter, and the fact that Jenna is a legitimately great actress with actual talent and skill. I don’t understand how the oddballs with bad taste hate on her and don’t seem to recognize actual good talent. Thankfully, they’re in the minority. Some of us actually know what good acting and talent looks like and the haters are telling on themselves 😂
