Beetroot Kalakand is one of the very tasty and easy sweet recipe wghich can be prepared with no fuss. This basically need only 3 main ingredients and enjoy this Diwali with this easy peasy sweet ...
Ingredients:
Beetroot (Medium Size) - 150 gms
Paneer - 400 gms
Condensed milk - 400 ml
Salt - a hefty pinch
Edible Silver Foil (optional)
Roasted Pistachio ( for Garnish)
Cardamom Powder - 1/2 Tsp
Ghee - 1 Tbsp
Procedure:
Puree beetroot with little water and keep it aside
Grate Paneer using cheese Grater and keep it aside
In a pan, add Ghee and then add Beetroot Puree in low flame.
Add a hefty pinch of salt and saute for a minute.
Cover and cook for 10 minutes.
After 10 mins, add grated Paneer and combine well..
Add Condensed Milk and cardamom Powder.
Mix well. Cover and cook for 15 mins in medium flame.
When cooked properly, it leaves the sides of the pan.
Grease the tray and pour the mixture into it.
Level it with Spatula.
Garnish it with edible silver foil over the top and sprinkle some roasted Pistachio.
Cling wrap once mixture cools down and refrigerate for 30 mins.
Then slice it to ur desired size and shape.
