dont let nobody tell you that FL 21 is worse than FL 10 or whatever. the default template on FL 10 is boosted by 5.5 db on the fruity limiter. do that on FL 21 and they're identical. any producer that tells you different is not paying attention and hasnt been for probably over a decade of their life

Are you referring to south side when he said why his beats hit harder than anyone else
@justinswayne Жыл бұрын
@@mikemakebeatz3340 No. Its in the manuals. If you read what the official company puts out and tells you blatantly instead of just listening to people that also don't know what they're talking about, then you wouldn't even have to ask.
@justinswayne Жыл бұрын
I was literally about to comment this lmfaoooo. Its SIMPLE gain staging. It sucks how many people think badly of FL Studio because of the blatant ignorance that the majority of its users disclose by all the dumb questions and disregard for common sense. So imageline realized that 'idiots' use their DAW and they were getting a bad rep because all the "mastered"🙄 beats sounded like DOODOO 💩 by default (They don't hit harder they end up more compressed) and to end up with a louder master you need more headroom so they took care of it for them. Wow that was more than I wanted to type.

Bro the reason it sound like it hit harder is because the limiter on fl 11 and so on the gain on the limiter is turned up 6db and in fl 21 its set to 0 literally that why it sound like its processed different.

ay fr though stop thinking compressors is a end all be all. understand effects, what they do and use em with intention. idk who's the mf who told yall the key to having ur shit sounding loud is compression but yall grossely misunderstood. everytime someone say something like "the key to x is to x" just know you're being lied to. just like mfs selling vocal presets. everything is contextual. you can't just take shortcuts you gotta understand how it works then apply it to what ur doing. that being said, ppl do be talking about NY style compression. and that is way better than slapping compression on insert of ur kicks and smashing it. parralel processing is it. but dont abuse it.

First of all the greatest enemy of the workers are those who exercise power because they are in an advantageous position. In our case, this is the "big producer" who refers to the loopmakers as inferior in this work and who generally makes them happy by giving them the percentage that they worked for. But they deserve this percentage, cause they worked it. When Kanye talking about what he deserves in the music industry you clapping and admire him as he goes against those who got power over his music,against the Record Labels. Cause he worked it. The second worst enemy and the most important is the one who is not in such an advantageous position but stands with the greats because he think he belongs there. For example, the guy who takes the interview that I doubt he has 10 placements. First comes the devaluation and then the salary reduction. They call you loopmakers and not composers and you call them producers instead of drum machines? We will get what we worked for, not more not less.

Yea I def don't listen to some of these producers when it comes to mixing and engineering. They themselves may not use compression, and talk shit about those who do and mix and I've heard "i always have my 808 and kick at 0db". The people they send it off to the ones that 100% are compressing everything. You don't get beats loud doin nothing. And if you say "my shit loud cause I got fruity limiter on my master and I crank up the gain" well guess what, you compressing that kick and 808 hardcore first before anything. Mixing engineers are turning your kick down from 0db to probably -9 to -6 then bringing everyyhthing up.

Don’t matter if you chop up the loop or whatever, still got to pay the person….translation don’t work with big producers
@metahanger24522 жыл бұрын
It's funny how producers say they wouldn't go 50/50 with a loop maker because they're getting them placement, but don't apply that same mentality to artists because without the artist promoting your beat on their song its also just sitting on your hard drive going nowhere🤷♂.

The loop is the main melody. Any body can do the rest lol if these producers so raw why duck with a no name. Most of y’all favorite producers would’ve been out the game if they wasn’t ripping up and coming producers off. Beatchameat productions stamp that
