How to Make Fried Pickles

In this video I'll show you how to make delicious fried pickles. They're easy to make and they're great as an appetizer or just a quick snack.
1/2 jar of pickles (dill chips, your favorite brand)
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp paprika
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c milk
1/2 c flour
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/8 tsp black pepper

I made these and they are the best homemade fried pickles I've ever had!! Some notes to those struggling: If your pickles are too oily or undercooked: buy an oil thermometer- they're really cheap and will help you make sure the oil is hot enough. If your fried pickles fell apart: try patting the pickles dry with a paper towel before you go to coat them in flour. Finally, if you want a thicker breading, double the flour mixture and double coat them. Making one batch, I found I had more than enough egg/milk mixture and just enough flour. Just make sure to do a 3rd bowl for the same mix as the first. Dry, wet, dry (after wet) to save some time and heartache when you get to the end of the batch.
