Man, I'm from Georgia, but I've been living in Germany for 5 years and we have opened an Irish Pub here. Me and my wife are always looking for great southern recipes and as soon as i heard your voice i knew this was the right page.. The pickles were great and we will use your recipe on our menu. I would be happy to use your name, or Kitchen Alpha logo if you'd like..... But thanks for the great recipe..

Now that's what I'm talkin' about. Just looking at the frying pan tells me this guy knows what's up in the kitchen. 4th of July fried pickles coming up. Thanks for the video. I subscribed because I can't wait to see what other goodies you have in store. *So I made about a dozen of these on the 4th for people to try and they were a HUGE hit. I ended up making more and was then showing people how to make them for themselves. I'm guessing these will be a regular staple when the family gets together.

What were you using to fry the pickles in and on? That was a stand alone burner? What type of pan was that? How did you know the temperature you were frying the pickles in was 325 degrees? Thanks for any technical help and what a great video!
@KitchenAlpha3 жыл бұрын
Vegetable oil, and that was a coleman camp stove. I often check oil temp with an instant read thermometer. Hope this helps!
@d.c.91533 жыл бұрын
@@KitchenAlpha that was VERY helpful! Thank you, bro! Also, if you have time. Why the camp stove? Does that work better than an electric or gas stove in the kitchen?

It was the Coleman Butane Stove. The only reason I used it was because it's easier to record video that way for me sometimes. You can cook them on your regular gas or electric range with no problem!
