Great video Chelsea. I like to see start to finish detailing because newbies like me can pick up techniques people use that are taken for granted. Thanks for sharing.

That is a transformation. Wow! What ever you charged was not enough with all you went thru on the interior mom. Truly amazing. Music was nice too, almost too loud but nice. Great edit work too. I would say you have made the videos your own now.

Extremely well detailed! You followed the steps perfectly in my opinion. Thats how you properly clean and detail a car.

Best video yet Chelsea. Taking the time to grab all the different camera angles, doing the editing and voice over... I am sure it took a lot of time after an ass-kicking detail but your hard work really shows in this one! Great job!

Great video and it's full of useful tips. Nice music, but it is a little loud for your soft voice. Awesome job and keep the videos coming...

That was a fantastic video, Chelsea! I know it's one of your older ones,, but seeing the breakdown of your process was very helpful. I actually had a couple at church today ask me about detailing based on how our vehicles looked, and I agreed to do their daughter's vehicle for them. They're good friends who've been through some really tough stuff,, so I won't charge them anything. But I'm kinda excited because it's my first detail of somebody else's vehicle besides mine and my wife's. And a bit nervous too, actually, because I don't want to mess anything up. I do have a quick question. If you don't have access to an extractor (or steamer), how would you handle cleaning the carpets and upholstery? I'm mainly concerned with making sure I get all of the cleaner out of the fabric. Thanks for helping out so many people with your videos!

If you need to extract you can go old school and use a hose with a sprayer on mist setting and your wet vac with the filter removed and spray cleaner, agitate, mist with with water and then vacuum up as much as you can, mop up with microfiber and then put a fan on it to accelerate drying. Or if you have a residential carpet cleaner like a Bissell or Rug Dr. Carpet Spotter (able to be picked up at walmart and then you can keep it for future jobs and around the house) it will spray and suck up water simultaneously and pull more liquid out of the carpets better. Id at least consider the investment as you may get more jobs from this one and especially having the right tools wont have to spend as much time on it and will get better results. If you dont want to go that route spot cleaning may be all thats necessary. Do you have a da? What chemicals are you planning on using?
@mhlittleton64933 жыл бұрын
@@attention2detailswchelsea No, I don’t have a DA. I’m planning on using either McKees 37 Total Interior Cleaner or P&S Xpress Interior Cleaner. I like your idea of using the wet vac, if I have to do anything more than just spot clean. I haven’t seen their daughter’s car yet, but knowing them I can’t imagine that it’s trashed. Thanks, Chelsea!

The upholstery & carpeting in the Jeep is not detailer friendly. Not a fan of those floor mats either. You worked very hard on this detail and it shows.

How does the drying towel you used compare to the DPS Sucker? Thanks!
@attention2detailswchelsea5 жыл бұрын
It's excellent. Where the sucker may be more absorbent this makes up for it in size and square footage leaving you with more towel for absorbency. The corners make it easier to hold and use on glass and to keep it from hitting the ground. Excellent towel one of my new favorites. This, the sucker and the dreadnought are my favorites.

@@attention2detailswchelsea I know and appreciate the task. Just gave me horrible flash backs😂😂 always love your tips and tricks but I'm like a Goldfish - if I've seen it before I move on. Have you guys worked out the best video length for impact? I reckon about 5-6 minutes but that's just me. 👌👍 Keep up the good work.
@attention2detailswchelsea5 жыл бұрын
@@T.Mitcbree it's actually just under 5 minutes where most seem to move on and this video isn't the norm for me but for those that wanted to watch the process this fills their cup. But for most videos my goal is 5-6 minutes like you said.
