After washing the truck I apply Rain X and then hose it off with the pressure washer and dry in a few seconds with the blower.

Favorite part was at 0:58 where he sprays three perfectly wand-shaped clouds onto the windshield. Wow! I don't recall seeing this on the official Stoner channel. Their main recommendation is to spray it directly onto the towel, and not to oversaturate it.

I've been using Invisible Glass for years and won't use anything else. The other product they make, Clean & Repel, is an awesome cleaner that provides hydrophobic properties to the glass. I'm surprised no one ever talks about it.

Ok...grabbed the stoner product. The stripper really cleans old coatings. I followed the video. I'll recoat in four hours and do the inside while i wait. This is my personal car. After the first process and coat .Invisible!!

Anytime i clean glass i clean the outside first then the inside, Because how can you see what you're doing if the outside glass is dirty.

Looks like temps were not that warm, how warm was the glass during coating application?

Temps were chilly in the morning hence the long sleeves but as the day progressed it got hot. The glass was on the warmer side to the touch but not like peak summer temps. But the invisible glass did evaporate pretty quickly hence why he went heavy with it to clean outside

Are glass coatings worth it in your opinion especially if I’m a daily driver who does use my wipers a decent bit? I love hydrophobics but I am a budget hobbyist

Honestly my customers haven’t seen the durability out of them that manufacturers claim and my husband doesn’t like them because it distracts him when driving plus wiper judder so I normally just maintain with Titan on glass and it works just the same without judder and overpromising and under delivering

I’d recommend Mckees 37 20/20 cockpit cleaner for that vs this as the glass stripper may be harder to remove on the inside

It’s up to you! I charge anywhere from $50-$75 for a glass coating. All windows $150
