What other mods have you done? My stock V6 Atlas Cross Sport doesn’t sound like that.

In this video, it was actually completely stock before installing the intake. So the "after intake" clip is spot on with what just adding the intake would sound like. Last thing, I change oil at 5k miles, seems like after 5k the vr6 starts to not sound as healthy and burn some oil.

thanks for making the video with after DB. Would you say at cruise its the same volume as before the intake? I just want to hear the VR6 sound but not be bothered with drone or noise as this is primarily a family vehicle.

I hear that! Sounds crazy, but I feel like at cruising speeds/idle it’s even a little quieter 😂 In db I got almost identical numbers when cruising (~69db)

@@BestHombre I noticed you weren't holding the meter in the same spot as your helper did but I double it makes that much of a difference. Now get to work on the resonator delete 😂😂

@@jmottawa Oh yea, I was just worried the numbers on the meter wouldn’t be visible, so I kept bringing it up closer to the camera. Hahah, will do!

I’m really curious if the res delete will help with the mpg. I did the same intake following your instructions and I have to say that’s noticeable already. If the res delete even gets 1 extra mpg it’s worth the $100 or so

I’m glad you’re also seeing improved efficiency! I heard the resonator delete does help, I’ll have to do a long Highway drive and see if I can break my previous record.

Does it improves mpg? Any difference than stock??

It did! I believe I went from 21 max to about 22-24, then the resonator delete helped too (if I can keep my foot steady lol) here's an eco highway run: kzbin.infoPpaDiSDccQQ?si=VKRtKoNz2VFtv5Lc

Any difference in the 0-60 ?

Unclear, but according to my butt dyno it definitely feels way more powerful in the higher rpm’s.
