While between stitches, you can put the leaf in the pages of a heavy book. Also coat the back of them with PVA glue. It will give it a little more durability. Magnolia leaves are the bestest!!!❤❤❤ These look great. Absolutely beautiful. 😊

I have never stitched into a green leaf. I have stitched into dry magnolia leaves. Never waxed or treated them, and several years later they are still lovely.

Stitching on leaves is fun. I've done it a few times. I crochet left handed but am relearning to knit and I am doing it right handed. Not sure why. Great video. Thanks

Gracious........what a concept. I wonder if there wasn't too much "relief" on the surface of the leaf, if you could smoosh it [that's a technical textile artist's term, right] in a large book to keep it from curling and let it dry out in there for however long it takes. I love the little button-hole "worm". Perfect fit. Blessings to you.

Ariane, that leaf looks like several species of caterpillar have chosen it to lay their eggs 😂
