These are so cool. I need to make a snail. This may be my answer. Thanks so much. I am left handed also but I noticed you wrap with your left hand and I wrap with my right hand. I interesting. I love your videos
@ArianeZurcher212Ай бұрын
I think we lefties are a bit ambidextrous. I use scissors with my right hand (because I had to!) and I knit as a right handed person does because my mother was right handed and she taught me when I was very young. ❤️💕❤️
@judymarkel8029Ай бұрын
@@ArianeZurcher212 yes I agree. I use scissors with my right hand. My dad bought me some left handed scissors years ago and I had to use them right handed. My grama tried to teach me to tat and I couldn't get it. Years later I wanted to try again and all of the instructions were right handed. So I taught myself right handed and when I figured it out I switched it to left handed. We definitely need to learn to adapt

The Bullion Needle sold by Sue Spargo glides through easily because the eye is actually smaller than the shaft. No tool is needed to pull thread through Araine
@gwensmith7024Ай бұрын
I actually prefer the Tulip bullion knot needles- I think the eyes are even more slim than the SS needles. The Tulip short fine ones are really smooth. I also find the pliers extremely helpful when doing a ton of wraps.

Thank you for showing your tips & tricks when making bullion circles - I need to do more of these on my projects - they add a lovely texture and are so pretty!
@ArianeZurcher212Ай бұрын
Thx Gwen. So glad this helped.
@ArianeZurcher212Ай бұрын
I find the Tulip works better for me and the pliers are absolutely essential when doing difficult threads and many wraps. But if you’ve found you can pull the thread through without using them, by all means. This is only my personal experience. ❤️
