Is it 40 or 50psi the max? What's the risk if you go over? Will it leak or simply releases the extra pressure?

I love this little piece of kit. I have used it for about 2 years with no problem. I leave it out all day in sun and get a hot shower. I use a CO2 cartridge bike tire filler to charge it takes 2 of them. It mounts to my ladder on my 4wd sprinter.

I think you should contact the company as none of the other reviewers I've seen had this problem. Thanks for the video!

It would definitely help if you mounted it on the other side so the fill valve is towards the back of your rig so you can easily fill from your tailgate. Also makes it easy to turn the valve off when you are done using it.
@halohalohikers35714 жыл бұрын
Your right. The mount is only one one side so I would have to switch the WaterPORT to the other side of the rack. Originally I had plans to use something else on that side, but I’m going to get a second water port and mount it over there. One will have easy access and one won’t.

I think its partially just learning to use it correctly. For the price I still think its a quality product and they just came out with a 8L tank that caught my eye. I mostly wanted to educate on the quick disconnect and how to properly check if its secure, I don't want to discourage anyone from buying this. In fact I'm still using it.

Thanks for a great review, I have two questions about water pressure please: 1- So when you lost the pressure after certain time, was the tank drained out completely? Or you lost the pressure but the tank still had water left and you had to manually pressurized it again? 2- Do you lose pressure gradually? meaning a full tank equals full pressure and a half tank or less equals less pressure? or the pressure remains the same?

Does it have a shrader valve where you can use an electric pump, that way i dont need to purchase the manual pump? If so whats the max you can pressurize. Tnx
@halohalohikers35713 жыл бұрын
If you pressurize with the hose you wont need to manually pump it. That was my attraction to this product over others, it has one way valves and self pressurizes if attached to the hose when filling. You would only need to pump if you were pouring water from the top. But, yes it has a shrader valve and also has a pop off valve, not sure what the max pressure is. I do see people use compressors with it.
@neologian17832 жыл бұрын
Yes it has a schrader valve. You can pressurize the Waterport 3 ways I think. Max PSI is around 45 or 50 I believe. 1. use the water pressure from your hose (my suspicion is this will limit you to less than the 3.8 gallon volume as you are likely to reach pressure equilibrium before the container reached max capacity?) 2. Pump it with any shrader compatible pump (bike pump, filling station compressed air, or portable electric pump etc.) 3. Use the manual pump on the lid

Great review, with the quick release issues seems a little sketchy especially with water being a necessity out there. Hopefully they will fix the problem. I own a 2019 TB LT. I like your setup with the Putco rack system and the ikamper tent. Is that the mini, a bit pricey but looks like a quality built tent. How do you like it so far? Thanks.

Why use a bicycle pump when you can just use an electric tire pump!? Don't overlanders have an air pump? 🤔 It's too bad it doesn't have a shower attachment; and I don't mean the $150 add-on! You can't tell me that they couldn't have added a (Chinese) shower head for less than $15.
