If you go back to last year free comic book days Spider-Man venom has the first appearance of the Ultimate Universe it has a preview in the book ultimate Black Panther

Ultimate Spider-Man is what happens when you give the fans what they want, with a creative team that has a very clear vision. People want great stories, well told, and will pay for them.

Seeing your guys' enthusiasm, I guess I have to give Spider-Boy a second chance. ;-) Also, I love, love, love the Energon books, I'm just re-reading all of them in their published order to refresh my memory (well, I'm old ...!), and they just deliver THE perfect comic book experience. What a ride! And I went in there without any previous knowledge about Transformers or G.I. Joe! Ok, I knew the very basics but I never watched any of the animated series, never read any of the previous books, never had any of the toys (not a kid of the 80s). But I have not felt "lost" with any of these books. Absolutely newcomer friendly stuff, just fantastic in the true sense of the word.
