Matt - I am watching this now 12 years later. I sent your church an email and they were gracious enough to respond to that but I just wanted to say again here. I appreciate your messages, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in November of 2020, went through surgery and 6 months of Chemo. I am coming up to my 1 year of my last chemo treatment and it's so encouraging to see you say this. This is where my heart is at now having gone through it, giving God all the glory and pointing the world to Jesus through our struggles. God bless you and I thank God for using you to touch not only myself but so many people globally with your journey.

Just found this young man on the net. Very interesting. It's sad to hear about his brain tumour. It's fantastic that he has such faith. What I liked was his quoting scripture all the time none of the "name-it-and-claim-it" stuff. My sister listened to all the claims of those charlatans & yet she died of a virulent cancer. I had a quadruple by-pass a couple of years ago & accepted God's will in the matter. He kept me from fear & now I'm back to normal. I'm praying for you, pastor. God bless you.

I recently discovered Matt by watching the Elephant Room. I’m very late to the game, lol. I can honestly say I’ve never been more inspired and challenged by a Pastor before. I’m in my 55th year and I want to be like Matt when I grow up, that is, when my faith in The Father grows, my zeal for Jesus grows and my knowledge of The Word grows.
