BEFORE vs AFTER! 6.7 Powerstroke DPF Delete!

Today we do some testing on the 2017 6.7 Powerstroke before & after being deleted. We run both 0-60 & 1/8th mile tests to compare the times from stock to deleted.

Stock intake? Stock cold side pipe? Definitely upgrade the cold side pipe since they fail in stock tune mode.

I bought a 2014 f250 6.7 230k miles all stock and got 10-12 mpg’s . After egr&dpf delete with h&s tuner on street mode am getting 18-20 mpg on the highway. Best decision I’ve made with this truck. I now have 313k miles and it runes like new. I would make babies with this truck if I could. Lol

Why didn’t you run any of those in four-wheel-drive high? I have a 22 and I ordered a 23 about a month ago I think it’s when they started taking orders and that’s the only thing I don’t like about the new trucks because you can’t tune them, or delete them.

DPF delete and tune. Realize that with the tune, you cannot contribute any number the the DPF on or off. Should have done with the tune and weight loss first.

@@zaclucarz engine can handle it, your trans however needs to be tuned to handle it for an extended period it time, could maybe benefit from a converter too

Yes! I used to get 370-390 miles on a full tank & on my first full tank with this setup I got 440 miles! That is a mix of city & highway driving. I’ll make a update video when I get some more data on that topic!

take a look at the whole diesel industry right now in america. be very careful what you post about your mods. im all for it but it is crazy how far they are going to enforce the emissions right now. people have had to crush there deleted trucks only because they where trying to sell them deleted.

@@specializ20 You mean the one guy from New Jersey who _chose_ to crush his deleted truck instead of returning it to stock? Yeah, it's always good advice not to create evidence of you breaking a law, and to then post that evidence on social media where the cops can see it. They just might become interested! You see, there is a very specific New Jersey law that if you are a diesel owner *and* are interested in deleting you should get familiar with: N.J.A.C. 7:27-14.3, particularly section (e) and it's the reason that guy got into that situation. Btw, he could have returned to stock and sold it or w/e. The state didn't make him crush it; they told him he had to comply with the law and that he could file for multiple extensions if he needed more time to do so. _He_ chose to crush it. And it's only been him; one guy. Not "people". *One.* Realize that this is not the same as the EPA going after businesses that sell emission defeat devices. The EPA doesn't go after end-users. They leave that to the states. Some states, like New Jersey, are very proactive in that regard. They look at ebay, craigslist, fb marketplace, etc, etc for illegal vehicles. The keep a database of illegal vehicles. They set up inspection check points to find illegal vehicles. And they show up to dealerships looking for illegal vehicles. On the other hand, states like Texas, Michigan, North Carolina, and more have state or county policies that does not require emission inspections or testing. They don't even try to look. Really it all depends on where you live. While it's federally illegal to tamper with emissions, each state polices it to various degrees. Just remember if you chose to modify your truck in such a way, you might want to be smart enough to learn about what state laws may apply to you and how they are enforced where you are registered. The guy from Jersey didn't and he paid for it. Ignorance may be bliss, but one thing it will never be is a good excuse. And the "I didn't know" excuse is worth absolutely nothing when law enforcement is involved.

I think about a diet too, my biggest concern is, I would like to see better MPG, not worry about how fast it will do in ⅛ml. I want better then 14.3 to 15.4 mpg.
