I read it, too. Generally underwhelming but a very good ending!

I feel you on that. I think Before We Say Goodbye and Before the Coffee Gets Cold are my favorites.

While I understand the author’s intentions in appealing to readers who are new to the series, the constant repetition of the rules for time-travel needlessly consumes space in the book and time for loyal readers. I will certainly read any upcoming books in the series, though I hope that the author will make adjustments to ensure a more substantial reading experience. I really love the concept of the series
