The Ranger 520C at the bow the beam at the seat base is wider than the than 521C and I think this is the same in the L boat. You were in a 520L which I think is wider at the bow at the seat than the 521L. Another thing you need to consider the lids on boats that are aluminum even if painted with change of temperature they will sweat and there is nothing to keep the heat from going through into your boxes which is bad for the live wells. Most pros put a type of rubber insulation on the lids. A few come with this. Ra angers lids are double layered with insulation in between.

All of the lids including the decks have a matt underneath the carpet. Kneel down on the deck of a Caymas and you'll feel the difference. I can't stand on the deck for 10 hours like I used to but the padding/matt under the carpet makes a huge difference.

More great information sir. I never would have thought to consider a Caymas, but now I am! Question, when you get done with all of these, will you have a comprehensive document with all the stats on it that someone can use to compare between the boats? Just curious, because, as I'm taking notes, I'm having to go back and re-watch vids if I have a question about a specific stat (like fishable deck, for example) between boat models. I appreciate your time on this series sir. I'm glued to my screen watching for when they come out and I tell everyone who will listen to watch this series as it is the best I've seen on this subject.

Another great video Ken but I could never consider a Caymas or Vexus. They both have a couple cool things that should be standard on all boats but a lot of other boats have other cool features also that should be standard on the Caymas. In saying that it’s just another heavy cookie cutter boat by Earl Bentz that has left Hydro-Sport and Triton hanging. Is Earl going to do the same thing to Caymas? Will he sell out? If he passes on what will happen to Caymas? So for me personally I’ve got to go with a boat that’s going to be around and I strongly favor company’s who are still family owned like Bass Cat, Blazer and so forth. Anyways can’t wait to see how you score the Caymas. Till next time!

Ken, when you're slowing your video down for slow motion, make sure your camera is set to at least 60fps. This will prevent the footage from looking like its skipping across the screen when you slow it down during editing. Love the content sir!!

I like the boat and layout so far. Especially the battery compartment, as I am a do it yourself-er like the owner of the boat. . Hope in part 2 you show the rear storage compartments and if port side storage compartment lid smashes co-anglers rods when lid is fully opened. ( my boat brand does) and it really pissed off my co's.LOL. Also would like to see more of the dash and switches. And PLEASE don't forget the tippy test on this one !! Keep up the great work !!

Triton with all the complaints fixed... Not to mention the 20’ model loaded down on take off will pass every boat in the field besides the bullets (2%) of the boats on tour... I’m talking tournament on the road for 2 month kitchen sink loaded.. Not one guy and 1/4 tank like most will post there boat running 80mph...😂🤷‍♂️🤦‍♂️... It will pass them ALL trust me.. I live it and see it weekly.. Puma,cougar,that new skeeter,neck and neck with Blazer which is only (1400lb) bye the way... Cayman 20’ boat LOADED with a 240lb co-angler, ) 76mph... and thats a spare trolling motor in the rod box with FIVE batteries, 175lbs of tackle.... Definitely a mail toter fo sho... Before the rest tell me what yours will run.. I said LOADED full,gas,water,tools, co angler....I run a 920 Phoenix ProXP and it’ll come around me like I’m tied to something

Get you a Nitro and watch the 💺’s fall apart in the second season.. 3rd season the carpet wear down to the fiberglass.. Then hit something with your trolling motor and hear glass crack way to easy.. Drop in trash can for a cooler that holds ice till about 9:30am tournament morning,leaking tackel storage box’s,small gauge wiring threw out that if for so me reason you get a loose ground to the battery you’ll cook every wire in the boat,QUICK..!! Not to mention if you get your Z-21 custom rigged with the goodies and anything other then the standard “pro” package (poles,12”unit,9”unit,four bank charger,Ultrex112 that will literally fall apart after 1 year if you fish for a live like I do.. Your still at 70k...Pro package 62k plus tax.. The price on the Cayman really isn’t bad (which there ALL over priced) I’ve got this boat in a 21’ on the way 2021 model and it has five 12” units one being pan-optics along with five lithium’s and the ghost trolling motor...Oh yeah, two 8” kickers, mids,highs and a marine grade Rockford fosgate Punch 150 amp, jumper switch, spare 4 blade prop (700$),power pole charger 1300$.... Even got all the networking wires for the units along with the ethernet cables for the motor read outs... Pro wheel package black 18s... It’s got everything.. 78,000$....Really good price for what you get... Pay to play I guess... 40th place 10,000$ 🤷‍♂️.... Yeah, I’m rolling the dice.. Can’t take it with ya and you ant promised tomorrow.. Go for it 👊

Your point about the seats being low making it more difficult to stand is very valid.. I'm no tournament angler, but I'm moving more towards a center console just for the all day comfort because the low seating of bass boats kills my back and knees
