kelly- I loved and so appreciate the close ups (Ex. the elf base product) as its typically hard to see (with all youtubers) the true texture issues with a bad formula. most foundations look dry around my chin like that so was so nice to see someone show the issue, label it, and express there's better formulations. sometimes I feel like im on my own planet with those issues

with the pocket blushes, i’ve been using 2 fingertips to tap the blush directly from stick to cheek. i keep tapping the same area and slowly move my hand outward. it’s the best way to keep it concentrated!

As someone who’s in my mid 50s I can’t see the tiny print on ELF packaging. Grr! I really do like the foundation, but it could also be that my skin is over 30 years older than yours. Maybe I need a little more help.😂 I really appreciate your critical eye. The best Mario formula is the soft sculpt. I have a fair complexion and it looks sooo good. Highly highly recommend. That and the RMS hydro powder bronzer are really great and worth the splurge xxx

I really wanted to love the new elf satin foundation as well. Just picked it up this week & was quite disappointed. I have extremely fair (dry) skin with neutral-warm undertones, and I purchased the lightest neutral shade-still too dark for me. It also seemed to pull more “peachy” with the undertones? I was able to obtain a refund for it this morning, however, so I am thankful for small blessings!

They are definitely pigmented enough. I swipe the leftover on my brush over my eyelids and it shows up rather brightly. I’m sure they could really pop if applied like a traditional shadow.

I haven’t tried the new drunk elephant sunscreen but the old formula was the only product I’ve ever used that made my face feel simultaneously greasy and sandpaper dry (like using a clay mask). Weirdly it always made my face look good but it just felt terrible.

Trigger warning below for morbid story about how well my KVD liquid gel bronzer works…. As far as liquid bronzers, the one from KVD is still my favorite! Crazy easy to use and still looks good on my skin after a grueling 13 hr shift! TW: We had a code at work, and I ended up doing 13 minutes of CPR near the end of the shift. One of my coworkers ended up buying her own bottle of it because, according to her, if my makeup could last through that level of intensity, she needed it!

Have you tried TirTir Cushion foundation? It is absolutely amazing. Just don’t use the puff, but tap it slightly with a brush. You need a tiniest amount. It is the most skin like and full coverage with the longest wear time. I like it more than Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation.

I feel the same about the ELF sun boss gloss. It’s much thicker than I anticipated and smells and tasted a little like sunscreen. I picked up the two lightest shades and I do like the color but I’m not as enthralled with the feeling and smell

Kelly I'm shocked that you don't like the E.L.F. Cosmetics Soft Glam Satin Foundation. I wear the shade 21N and I love this. With this product for a cute full coverage look, try applying the Hydrating Camo CC Cream underneath cause it does work really well together for a hydrated soft glam look. Okay E.L.F. Sun Boss Gloss Sunscreen I can't stop wearing. I took this with me to Cape May (since it wasn't available in May) in the shade Peachy Kween and both my mom and I love this. I have to get another shade in this for the fall. NYX'S Butter Melt Pressed Powder Blush in U Know Butta is my go to summer shade. I can't decide which shade to get for the fall and winter out of the shades Feeling Butta, Back and Butta, Sooner The Butta or Butta Together. What I love most the glowy shades is that you don't need a highlighter with it.

Same! However, I’ve noticed with elf products that there isn’t always consistency of product across different shades. I have olive skin and bought the shade 24 Light Warm. As I’m in my mid-30s, I have a very moisturizing routine of several steps and always apply primer and then my foundation with a beauty blender which I find helps.
