Today I go over tires you should buy and stay away from when looking for some new ones with your A90 Supra / A91 Supra. These cars are very picky with what kind of tires and sizes they do and do not like so you for sure have to be careful with what you decide to buy. Don't make the same mistakes as me!

265/35/19 and 285/35/19 (xl tire or DR) works best. The rear is obviously scrapping because the spacer is too large, not because of tire size. My wife has 305/35/19’s on a j10.5 wheel, running it on a 10” is going to run you into inverted poke, and a higher risk of spinning the bead. I’m not a tire genius but I’ve tried ALOT of tires on a multitude of different wheels, wouldn’t recommend a 305 long term. Also the inverted poke on the tire is why it feels unstable. You put a tire that’s too big on there so that’s why your side wall is so weak, hence why it feels so loose.

im running 305 super sport cups on the rear and 275 on the fronts. feels perfect

Could I use 265/35/19 4s and nitto RRR2 305/35/19 is a good combination? Why can't I find 4s in 305/35/19? I don't know if Michelin makes those measurements. Can you help i just got a Supra 😥

How did you end up liking the Falken tires? The PS4s are great all around but if I drop down on the frwy going 70 my rear end just gets too loose and spins.. Was thinking about the Nitto RRR2s.

actually really like the falkens these things are great, much better than the PS4s. I was originally trying to get the Nittos but they were on back order so I went with these

Your issue is that you’re running too much wider tire than permitted on the stock wheel. The most you should run is a 285. Even if a 305 fits it doesn’t mean it’ll work.

My new Falken Azenis RT660s fit perfectly fine on the car, switched it from a 305/35/19 down to a 305/30/19. Granted I have a small rear spacer but they work great

@@NickBoychuk and that’s still not recommended. The stock A90 rear wheel is a 10” wide and those rt660 need a recommended wheel width of 11”. This translate too that your contact patch is not proper for the set up. Just an FYI.

Switched my old 275 rears to the front & got some new 305/30/19 4s’ in the rear. Definitely got some sway in cornering & high speed but I believe that’s due to “tire break in”? Something I read in the Supra forums. Going to switch from manual tire recognition to automatic, just looking for a solution for this common issue

Bro I hate to tell you this but if you got tires with soft side walls like I did with the Mickey thompsons you are gonna permanently deal with those issues. I couldn’t find a way around it even with sway bars/end links so I got rid of them for some Falken Azenis RT660s and it’s made my life 10x better. Car feels like how it should

Darn that’s one hard pill to swallow esp considering Michelin’s aren’t cheap. It seems like most of not all Supra owners with new tires deal with this issue as the subject is prevalent in the forums. I know Pirelli’s are known to have thin sidewalls but didn’t think Michelin’s did. Did you get the RT660’s in 305’s as well, no problems?

Could you fit 275 all around on stock wheels with R888 for top speed ?? What would you recommend?

I’m not sure about up front if you can fit a 275 on stock wheel size or just without rubbing. Those are gonna have crazy road noise tho, I did get the Azenis RT660s and I’d highly recommend those

I am on stock suspension but I do also have some spacers in the rear. I do run 305/30/19s

Got rid of those. They couldn’t hook so I picked up Mickey Thompsons and really didn’t like those for anything besides the grip, like the rest of the driving experience was not fun. I really like what I got currently on the rear which are the Falken Azenis RT660s
