Unpopular opinion, I like toxic couples like them that turn good. The development pulls you in for 8 seasons, there's infuriating drama going on that makes you agitated and chefskiss chemistry. (Teens) Tv couples nowadays are healthy without any drama which is great but kinda ... bland and if there's an exciting relationship they end up breaking up/not ending up together or the shows cancelled. I swear chuck and blair were the last remarkable american tv show couple.

god chuck and blair had such a remarkable story. you can tell how much effort the creators put into telling their story from their dialogue and scenes to the song choice for the background music of their scenes. also the way chuck and blair developed individually because of each other. they really went through so much together. tv shows don’t make their couples work for their endgames like they used to
