There's one thing I didn't see mentioned about E1 and that's the 50% more calculated Interpretation Stacks when using Enhanced Skill at 42 stacks. While she can easily get to the max 42 stacks (You only need 28 stacks when using the Enhanced Skill) and always starts with 15 stacks after using ES there's a hidden part of E1 that makes it EXTREMELY GOOD in ST (Elites/Bosses): If you use Enhanced Skill when you already have 42 Stacks at E1, she calculates that additional 50% meaning in the Damage Calculation Formula you get 63 Stacks !!! meaning much more damage ! Hence why her E1 is really good for more ST DMG

@@iSUMMONYT Could you compare Himeko, Small Herta, Serval with the assumption that Himeko is only about E2S1, Small Herta is E5-6, Serval is E5-6, but Eagle set isn't farmed too well. I feel like that's kinda the average/realistic state of peoples' accounts. Non-day-1, non-zero-cycle players don't really farm the eagle set anymore and most beta guides are saying Serval is good with the condition that you have a crazy good Eagle set.

If the last MoC hasn’t convinced you to not pull for eidolons in this game, then I don’t know what will. My E2S1 Dan Heng fucking struggled against those (img weak!) bugs. And he has a good build, with S1 Sunday, S1 Aven and E6 Ting as supports. You will be always better off pulling the newest shiny units over investing vertically, that’s just a fact.

Except supports. Robin/Sunday and even Black Swan’s E1 can significantly increase the units potency. Though anything beyond that usually isn’t as good as a new unit. I have the BP erudition full stacks but I literally never use it. Is just sitting in my back pocket with no use whatsoever. One thing I can say is that it’s definitely possible to make the wrong decision.

Another massive pro for E1 is that it's gets you 1 step closer to E2 which is extremely broken. That being said my planned pulls are lingshaE0, then try my luck for herta to E2. I have 300 pulls +60 pity so hoping that's enough.

i made a longer post about vertical investment as a reply to another post, so i keep this one short: yeah, S1 is "easier" to get, but losing your 75/25 on a weapon banner is also the hardest hit a f2p/low spender account can take. losing 50/50 while trying to get E1 will at least guarantee you the next unit and i take horizontal investment in HSR over vertical investment any day - i explained my reason behind that in the longer post i mentioned

I think if you have the BP LC at S5 or close to it and are willing to get it stacked going for E1 is the smarter move because you end with higher damage overall, the build is still going to be harder but the end game damage result is nuttier and you're one step away from the E2 on the rerun. I think Herta's LC is a repeat of Firefly's LC vs Fall, it's a fine LC but it's not going to improve your cycle count over the next best thing, it's just going to make your life easier, only difference is fall is free and BP requires some spending but I kinda wish I had just given firefly fall and called it a day myself. If you get a chance, please do another follow up video about the value of the E2 if you get there and how worth it is it over E1S1 or else assuming Herta is glued to RMC until Tribbie is out and also how much better is Jade than f2p eruditions if you have her E1S1.

Don't know why you wouldn't run Sparkle or Sunday instead of RMC with Herta if you want DMG% from a Harmony (Hell they all have this, but both of these character AA like RMC). 1 Buffs the entire team, one buffs just her, and both create a little feedback loop with Herta's C.DMG talent, while being SP positive (Sparkle buffs 20% more C.DMg on her skill and 45% at E6, Sunday 24% on ult and 26% at E3 with that extra 80% C.DMG). A QPQ Lingsha would do better in terms of funneling energy to her if all he's there for is that.

Its because RTB also hits AOE helping Herta Stack, With Sunday/Sparkle you can actually take too many turns and reset your stacks too often which isnt optimal. But we will have to test it out when she drops

@ that AOE attack is only once every couple turns and a basic only regens 3 energy per basic, so that’s maybe 24 energy, depending on if you get full hits, if the rotation is 3 turns. Again QPQ would battery better (16 from QPQ and 15 if you skill on top of that with a full field with Lingsha. 31 per turn). Sparkle would straight up buff the team better than him too.

Sunday would perform well with The Herta also since you can do -1 spd and more turns equates to more energy for her ult. His ult helps get Herta's ult faster as well. Sparkle's situation is similar to e2 dhil where The Herta's ult would remove Sparkle's skill buff since she immediately takes another turn. Sparkle skill buffs would over saturate the crit stats since The Herta gets a lot when fulfilling her erudition trace. You would have to waste a turn with basic atk so that Sparkle can bring her up to buff her enhanced skill.

It all comes down to skill point economy, if your team can manage that issue your good to go, also the 30 speed jade gives makes herta reach 134 speed with atk boots

Jade is quite valuable to herta since she checks lots of the boxes she wants: sp positive, eruditon, frequent aoe atks however if you dont own a lingsha its not as viable since herta herself doesnt generate too many stacks for jade. But out of all the erudition jade does the highest sub dps, charge generation if used correctly and is the most sp positive, so I wouldn't say she is needed but there is definitely a difference in sp economy and TEAM dmg when using jade

Assuming I have Lingsha is the only premium sustain and super break unit I lack, and if I have good Acheron and Feixiao teams, I would be hurt skipping this patch? 3.1 looks to be more interesting and Mydei's leaks seem more akin to a t0 DPS kit. 2:40 doesn't have much DMG bonus? Her interpretation stacks give 8%/4% each for main/adjacent enemies (on enhanced skill), stacking up to 42 times, which is 336%. If you have a second erudition character it's doubled (672%), and e1 recounts half the stacks (1008%). Even though this is best case scenario and you'll probably have about 30ish stacks, more dmg boost is gonna give diminishing remains, to the point you'd probably even rather give her an ATK planar

If I could choose to pull between firefly, the herta, or the upcoming feixiao rerun for a new dps, who should I pick? I have boothill as a break dps but him being hunt inherently makes him weaker in stages that require hitting more than one enemy. Although feixiao is a hunt, she has fua and can hit enemies multiple times with her ult that has 2 available uses with full stacks. Firefly has been busted since release but from an e0 standpoint I’ve heard that she’s beginning to fall off. Lastly for the herta, I’ve heard she’s the strongest new dps, so idk. Help deciding would be appreciated

I want The Herta, but possibly can't(Limited on pulls). She probably needs good vertical investment to make her work in all stages of end game. As FTP getting a new dps is a huge investment. My account is set up for Acheron, Break, and summon. In this case I would rather pull for Aglaea than The Herta.
