The whole Ernie said story gets me everytime, without fail. You find Ernie as a kitten, watch as she grows up, she brings home her kittens to meet her father/mother, then the coyote attack happens, and Ernie runs away. You kind of think that you'll never see her again, but she does come back at the very end, and makes sure youre not alone. Then we get to the gatekeeper scene. You're told to tell the gatekeeper everything, and you finally come to the end. And discover that Ernie is the gatekeeper who wants to hear your story, and she is also the one who lets you in. Then you close your eyes. I watch and play this game at least once a year, and I am always reduced to crying my eyes out when I see Ernie because she reminds me of my cat, and maybe he will be my gatekeeper.

Watched a playthrough of the game. My God I hated that I did that... Because this is so good that I want to play it myself. Sadly, it’s truly something you NEED to experience the first time yourself. If you’re even a little interested in great storytelling and have 1.5 hours and a few bucks to spare, play this game. You won’t regret it. I promise.

This game it's so majestic I can't actually express it well. So full of little details, the meanings behind things like the history lessons, the cat, the boat you are on, the wolf-fisherman that reminds of Anubi (in the school lesson), the fact you can't actually see everything in a scene because you (as the character) were focused on something else. It just feel like living another life. And when I finished the story I felt the need to live my life at his best, enjoy it no matter the mistakes I made

This game is a masterpiece. There’s not a single part of the game I would change. It tells it’s story so we’ll and in such and emotionally devastating way. 11/10 game. Highly recommend.

I just want to tell the developers of this game that this is one of the most meaningful games I have played! There are so many aspects of it that not only makes it unique but also special - and meaningful. The music compliments the story. The entire blink mechanic is really creative and it is so integrated in the story - these are the types of games I really want so much to play! The story was well crafted and does not shows any holes in it. It may be sad...but at the end, Benny's small but complete life gives off a light to everyone in it, especially his parents and to his neighbor, Chloe. A game that I want to play with my own parents, really. Thank you very much developers for such an amazing game. I do know that there are people who are touched and are left with a meaningful, positive with them - for me, I consider this a success in your game already!
