Man, I should do what you did that day. I was camping the state park I believe around that time you make the trip to the surf, I didn’t move just fish the chocolate water and I did catch some small whiting but must of the bite was catfish still a catch but I was going more for whiting. Oh well, I did have fun with my son and he was enjoying pulling cats 😂😂 thanks for sharing your experience and teaching us how to fish the gulf… BTW I am new to this water and learning my way. Tight lines and be safe.
