Rotterdam Blijdorp zoo should have been mentioned. A world wide renown zoo, with top class animal husbandry as wel as unique architecture.

The name Delfshaven has to be read and spoken as Delfs-haven, not as Delf-shaven. It's named after the city of Delft. Far back in the days Delfshaven was the harbour (haven) of Delft. Nowadays it's a district of Rotterdam.

And Markthal is not pronounced Mark Thal...it's spoken as Markt Hal (as in Market Hall).

Travel to Rotterdam by train. Exit the CENTRAAL STATION at the front and at the road there turn right. Go to RAILZ MINIWORLD and in there look at the centraal station. "The friendly locals"?!? 😂 I am Rotterdam born and wouldn't call the locals particularly friendly. 😈
