Tip. If when deleting the face of the skin you see some black lines which were not deleted and cannot be selected either, change the selection mode to "edge selection", select the black lines, press X and then "edges" and thus you will be able to delete them.

That's a very vague error log. Try deleting and manually installing DragonFF as well as using Blender's latest version.

@@elcascavel I have managed to solve it, and I used an older version of Blender. Now the problem is different and that when importing it in the game, the character appears deformed: One leg raised and twisted, the other pointing upwards, one arm across the head... It's a model for GTA VC by Toshiko Kasen, which I'm trying to turn into a model for San Andreas.

Hi, I have problem with rig, I changed ballas1 to have legs and face from bmycr and hoodie from wmydrug, followed all steps, imported model to the game and this ballas won't spawn, only other ballas types. tested in MTA and it loads original model with original texture (I had custom one before). Looked back in to Blender and checked that when I import dff models, it won't import bones but Root and sometning called Group.001 up to Group.031. DFF Viewer shows my model but without bones, other models have bones but they disappear when I import them to Blender.

The DragonFF for blender hasn't been updated in awhile. It doesn't give you the option to download the V01.1 anymore.

Hey man! I am currently suffering from such pain in the ass that I can't add any textures as the matter of fact that most of the skins I want to edit or headswap have multiple .img textures. I have vno clue how to open all of them at the same time, I can only open one image and my skin just messes up. Any tips? I've tried different ways but nothing helps :/

Thanks but, when I exported my model and trys to having fun with my own skin, the skin just invisible in game and when I load model in Zmodeler, it says that the frame has without a name and others empty names then it can't load the model in Zmodeler either. Unfortunately, this problem is unfixable right now due to our technology are still not advanced enough in today era. I hope this problem maybe fix in the future. Anyway, thanks for the tutorial

You don't have to mess with rigging in these situations. It should work right out of the box.
