I bet if you just do basic introduction videos to all the mods, they should be relatively applicable for a long time since the base usage for these larger mods should remain fairly similar. Just a tip I found for the windmill bit: You don't need to craft sails, wool works just fine as well. You just need to make sure it's all connected with glue or radial chassises.

really liking the vault hunters specifics of this guide (gearbox vs large gear larimar cost, I would totally have missed that) This is great timing as create is next on my to do list, because I've just linked up my refined storage, drawers, and colossal chest.

Just as the horizontal waterwheel generates 320su when one corner is blocked, so would the vertical waterwheel. Just put the soul sand one block higher, diagonally behind the wheel, rather than letting the water surround the entire wheel, because otherwise the water source block above the soul sand would flow under it, against the spinning direction.

Similar with lava, place a source in top corner with a block below it. The lava will flow over then down then back under for 3x sides moved.

great video! Small note, your horizontal water wheel was not running at full capacity. They can also hit 320 SU by placing the soul sand a block higher htan you had it, preventing the water source from flowing backwards and slowing the water wheel.

@@dejojotheawsome I just started it yesterday! Turns out I needed a few more things. Do you know if some things have changed with the mod since your video was posted? I'm not able to use the soul sand trick in order to increase the Su output :( The horizontal water wheel trick also doesn't seem to work anymore

This is the video I've been looking for the past 3 days on how to generate enough SU to power the mechanical crafters to create the grinding wheels thank you Could you put a magma block to pull the water down from the front? Would that not increase its speed?

I love how the mechanical crafter nonsense didn't make it into vault hunters. Making a crushing wheel is a 2 hour progression endeavor normally lol.

The water wheels are changed despite the direction, they won't generate more than 128 su

I can't seem to find a way to get Deployers with Shears to shear the side of a Pumpkin on a Belt to turn it into a Carved Pumpkin... let alone how to deal with the resulting Seeds. No matter what I try, the Shears Deployer just keeps letting the Pumpkin roll right on by and disregards that Pumpkin's existence. What am I doing wrong...? :(

You can speed up your non-automated Bulk Smelting process significantly by just holding the throw button to toss the items individually. That way, your ores will be fully smelted by the time they reach the end of the fan's range (where a hopper, or preferably a chute, can put them in storage).
