There are a few different thread brands out there. You can try Madeira, Sulky and Floriani. A cheaper option would be Simthread and Brothread off Amazon.

Also tried a few samples, i found too many holes in the fabric is it because of the tension?

Depending on what type of material you’re embroidering on, there are different needles, stabilizers, tension settings and techniques for better results.

Is your needle properly installed? Sometimes if the needle isn’t fully installed the auto-threader may not pull the thread through the needle.
