Beginner Friendly Series | Castile | Emperor | Europa Universalis IV | 7

This series is intended to help new players get to grips with and understand Europa Universalis IV (EU4). The idea is that through watching someone more experienced go through the same processes that you will, it will help teach the game. As such, I play through this as normal, but take the time to go into more detail about what is happening, and why. Would you advise beginners to follow the mission tree or not? In my game I didn't focus on that I got well until my corruption was extraordinarily high.

Yes, for the most part. Be aware though, that some mission are more of a challenge than a guide.

Do the odds of the undesirable ruler-general dying in battle improve if you assign him to a smaller stack? Or putting it another way, is the general more likely to die if his stack is wiped out?
