I've been incorporating the no-pot belt playstyle and it's amazing how much it's been benefiting me. Was playing duos with a buddy, and had a dark hallway with a ranger at the end. We were able to run up to them before they had ANY time to react. We came from the shadows... thanks for all the content man

Meta for me has been 6 throwing axes since they nerfed them to 1/ stack so there just isnt room for anything but throwing weapons

That was a really smooth and perfectly played match! Blinn said he hated the goblin archer spamming the wall in the other room, but that archer earned that Blinn that first free arming hit on the long sword. The long sword fighter was trying to open the other room because he/she thought that there was someone in there fighting the goblin archer.

yes, I totally realize now that archer was like a beacon calling out to other PvP-hungry players haha.. a lure to my dark lair >:)

You spawned in at Path A, if you down down below where the skeleton mage is near the extract there is also like 6 wolves, that’s the god spawn as you clear that area then go south to wolf cave then back up north to extract

Not sure if its in your video toolbox but it would be cool if you made a video explaining the importance of quests and what the benefits of fulfilling quests are cause besides squire upgrades I don't quite get it. Surely you would prefer just making money from runs to buy gear or getting them from said runs.

I think the main goal of quests is to unlock more crafting options. as the wipe matures, the best gear is crafted, but you need to have the quests complete to enable crafting from particular merchants. gold gear and other fancy stuff all comes from merchants (and the ingredients you need to craft them) so that's why questing is important!!

I play mainly duos so im pretty familiar with ice caves since we were forced on it for extended periods the last 2 wipes. honestly the pve feels a little better this wipe, its still really annoying at times but overall its not as bad, they really could eliminate the whole kobolds calling other kobolds thing, thats never gonna not suck. its pretty good loot though especially if you go down to abyss, its not quite as good as hell but its usually pretty chill down there. btw I noticed you mentioned going to wolf cave for pelts, theres also a bunch of wolves and a lions head right down the ramp in that room you spawned.

@@YourBoyBlinn yeah the whole map is actually pretty good looting, I usually spawn in and grab some wolves if there around on the way to pyramid, loot under pyramid cuz theres a royal coffin and a lions head or a golden under there, then a bunch of surrounding rooms have lions head or goldens, i loot them then go to the one room you can enter abyss from there can be up to 3 lions heads and a golden in there usually just 1 of each though. then i hop down to abyss and loot a few goldens and lions heads down there and ive walked out with over 5k in items in normals before. its definitely not always that good but the potential is there.

Ice caves are a clerics wet dream just throw on purification a little heals im talkin like 3 pots 3 bandages an a campfire type small an a little patience I cleaned house the other day in low lobby

I struggle with this map as a new player, so it was great to hear an experienced player also does. How do you go about learning or expanding you knowledge of a map other than just keep running it?

Have a look at the spellsandguns wiki. The maps on there let you toggle POIs on and off as you please. So if say, you are just learning where the extracts are, you can just turn those on and everything else off and study it. Or throw it on a secondary monitor/your phone etc.

I team up with other people who have more experience! WolfTactical held my hand in frost mountain for like 10 raids before I started running it myself. another friend has been showing me the ropes in Crypts Inferno.. so much better to get immediate advice and map knowledge while playing, since there's something about the autonomy that helps me remember the layouts and particulars.

I agree with the comment in general but I think the reason creators don't do it is that the algorthim punishes you for people skipping large sections.

Sure, but a troll is much harder, i have like 50 wolf pelts and i have zero troll pelts, i never even killed one.

I would advice cheesing for the trolls, too much of a chore to clear them up the proper way, jump on a somewhat high place and jump everytime the troll attacks while you melee him, will take some time so i advice to keep other mobs alive in case some player approaches and use them as a way to signal you such case scenario

@@zaikolebolsh5724 great advice, but I think you're referring to the frost giants? definitely love to stand on boxes and cheese those bad boys.. unfortunately there is no way to stand on a box and cheese the cave troll! would have broken economy if so! haha

@@YourBoyBlinn my bad, i was saying the smaller ice trolls that tend to be in kobold rooms, i got it wrong from the beggining. Ice giants are kinda doable the proper way and fun to fight but cheesing them is obviously much easier, specially with their lunger attacks you can get them in ridiculous places where they cant get down from, its very funny

Your play style makes me get off the video. Turning off torches as a fighter is crazy. Anytime I see torches off I don't even enter the room.
