Beginner Guide to Making VRChat Textures in Substance Painter

This tutorial goes over just navigating Substance Painter all the way to making decals and using those tips and tricks to make a snake skin material to create snake skin tattoos!
This is part one of who knows how many parts lol. I plan to make another tutorial soon that goes over creating wrinkles with normal maps and shading, etc. It also will go into detail on how to export normal maps with height data which I did forget to go over this tutorial, apologies

Hi is there’s a way for existing texture can blend or match? Talking about I made a headswap (booth)but texture not match at all a way for maybe can fix is trying to paint the neck maybe? If it’s possible can you make a tutorial please 🙏

I have sadly a problem for the pastz months where when i draw on Claws/Beans it also draws on the base itself, 2D and 3D... since they clip a bit into the Base... is therea way to fix it? Base: Regulus 2.0

You have 2 options, either use a mask and carefully select only the parts of the claw mesh. Or go in blender and move the claw parts on the UV map away from the body mesh and export it again.
