I'm so glad you made this tutorial! I've been looking for a vertical lasso tutorial for ever and haven't been able to find one.

Right on! Sometimes I feel like it's easy to assume that some hooping moves like this are automatic. Thanks for your compliment. It's good to know that this move made a difference for you :-)

Smiled the whole time! Thanx so much for the great videos. Just starting out, making my own hoops and learning tricks. Your videos are perfect for my learning style and for the goals I have set (the type of hooper I hope to become).

Thank you for this wonderful video. What is the best weight for the hoop when you are a beginner to make this trick please ?
@hoopsmiles10 жыл бұрын
I don't know the exact weight. I recommend using a hoop that is about a half inch or less in girth, without extra weights added, only the weight of the tubing and decorative tape. However, if you want more of a work out, using a heavier hoop could also be helpful.

omg! I am starting to get it, but from practicing I now have yucky purple red bruises on backs of my hands! will this go away? should I stop practicing? It doesn't hurt that much, but I put on gloves. Now my hands are sweating. lol. what do you think? thank you!

Well I'm not a doctor, but I'd say it's pretty common to get bruises while hooping, especially if it's your first time. Wearing protective material over the body parts you plan to hoop on may be helpful with reducing bruises. Also, using a lighter smaller sized hoop can sometimes be helpful with reducing bruises as well. Unfortunately for some, it may be inevitable that bruising occurs while hooping.
