First, I would like to thank you for your podcast. It’s super informative for learners. Now I’m going to answer your questions. 1. This year we celebrate Easter on the 16-th of April. Palm Sunday is on the day after tomorrow (the 9th of April), this day when people take and hold in their hands the springs of willow to consecrate them. On Easter night people go to the Church to take part in Divine Liturgy. The Service lasts about three hours from 00:00 to 03:00 a.m. We take Easter Cakes with us and Ester Eggs. 2. Every Easter Holiday we eat Ester Cakes and Easter Eggs. The Easter Cake can be bought either in any gross store and markets or you can make it at home. But we don’t have a tradition of Easter Bunny. 3. We celebrate 12 all-known Christian holidays during the year. Christmas and Easter are the most popular, because they are family holidays, and people have a day off.

@@elephantenglishpodcasts Thanks a lot for adjusting my grammar! I live in the Northern part of Ukraine. In the center of my country people, as a rule, speak two languages, Russian and Ukrainian. English is my passion, but it is challenging for me to get over the purgatory of the intermediate level. But I continue my battle to master your language. Today I bumped into your channel. See that your stuff is extremely useful for my level and pretty good. Keep it up! Thank you for your feedback!

It is definitely a festival, a Christian festival. Maybe you are thinking of more like a music festival.
