Hi Nick, great version for a beginner guitarist like myself. It even sounds like I know what I'm doing.

Bro I love you how you explain the step and all and then play the whole thing at the end so you can see what it sounds like. Thank you for that cause not many guitar teachers on KZbin do that. So thank you. Keep rockin brother.

Where were you 20 years ago?, when me as a punk guitarist who knew the blues, thought and still do, that Rockerbilly is the most joyous, exciting skillful and inventive of all guitar styles. I thought I'd never get anywhere near it. One day I was playing for hours a simple walking bass line verifying beats and tempo, I put a bit of swing in and door opened! Surely it's the only style where you can pull every lick you know and if you swing it , it will happen. I Always wondered how they pumped out so many hooks and fit say 3 fantastic solos in one tune, I see now that Rockerbilly has the power to unlock every great lick you know and forgotten, melts all your styles together and give them coherence . Rockerbilly has to be the most instantly rewarding too. I bless the day it found me.

Thanks man. I needed to learn this quick for a gig. Nobody knew the difference.

Rock on! I'm glad to hear it helped! You can go much further in depth with it, as BS has some AMAZING fills, licks and lines throughout the piece...but yeah - for a quick gig (one off)/in an emergency or as a beginner - this is pretty smashing isn't it? =)

What amp do you use? Thanks
@SamuraiFingers10 ай бұрын
I have many amps believe it or not. But my main amp for rockabilly these days is a reissue silver face fender reverb with the bassman super circuit installed.

I think the Em should be replaced with a G7. Sounds better.

Yes. That’s the point! I mention it many times that this isn’t a note perfect version. It is simplified for beginners - so it's extra easy! It allows someone to play the song at a beginner level without all the tricky bits of playing it just like Setzer! 😃
