LOL.. watching this video, 5 years after I first recorded it (it was originally recorded in 2015 and was a part of the studios online academy program) , all I hear now is .. "Out and around" "Out and around" .. oh folks, hope I didn't annoy you with that! #facepalm Cheers, Jane

I’m not sure how this is considered a beginner move 🤣 Imma keep walking it out till I get it though
@BeginnerPoleDancing3 жыл бұрын
Hi Linda, I think because this is one of my fave "go-to" moves, I have a lot of force behind the move. But I didn't start out that way. It took several months for my body to memorize the sequence. I walked this move out, for a long time until I started lifting my feet into it. So definitely, start with walking it out, to help your body memorize the sequence and then take it slow. In time, you'll become comfortable and ready to fly! Cheers, Jane

I really like your video but how do you not get dizzy
@BeginnerPoleDancing5 жыл бұрын
Hi Monica! That's a great question - I've never thought of it! To be honest with you, I think I've become accustomed to feeling dizzy! Ha!
@SimoraCheeks14 жыл бұрын
Everyone is different when it comes to their spin tolerance. If you tend to get really dizzy, to the point where you can't continue or feel really sick, you may want to try ginger or even OTC medicine to help before starting to train spinning. I definitely recommend checking with your physician first since I'm not a medical professional and know nothing of your medical history. If it's just basic dizziness that passes quickly then you can train that to get a little better and easier to manage. Start slowly with simpler moves. Pirouettes are great since you can keep a foot on the floor, try a few in succession and go from there. It helps to train spinning regularly so try to do it often. I hope that helps!

Thank you for the video! Can you do this on spinning pole? Or this only works for static pole?
@BeginnerPoleDancing5 жыл бұрын
Hi there! I recommend this only on static. On spin pole, it would be too powerful.

Omg! I’ve been trying this on a spinning pole and couldn’t for the life of me figure out how this was a beginner move. My pole was spinning me so fast that it was impossible to do the grip change and now I have very sore wrists lol. WHOOPS! Going to try this on static tomorrow!
