I have seen various tutorials about making these cozy chunky throws... As a teacher and a new person making one- who has never knitted before- your tutorial is THE best I have seen. Extremely well explained and paced... Your tutorial is the only one I'm going to share with others. Keep up the great work you're doing! You're young and your final work- and steps presented- seem like you've been doing this for years and years! Thank you for your time, effort, and for sharing your skills with the rest of us... Saludos from San Antonio, Texas! ❤

Just wanted to say thank you so much for your video and your slower, more detailed, thorough explanation of what to do for each step. I’m now on my 4th blanket and keep coming back to your video to remind myself how to get it started and how to finish it up. It’s the best video I found after searching for weeks and I LOVE the way each blanket has come out. ♥️ it just reiterates the importance of patience and thoroughness and not assuming people grasp what you’re talking about. Most seemingly difficult, complicated things in life can be greatly simplified with a little extra time and patience, and the ability to look at something through the eyes of a true “beginner” with no prior knowledge on the subject. A lot of “beginner” tutorials or explanations of things still seem to make a lot of assumptions and lack the patience to actually explain things that a true beginner (like myself 😅) would fully grasp to the extent of being able to confidently apply it in life. Okay maybe I’m going a bit deeper than blanket-crafting, but seriously, it applies to just about everything! Hahaha whoa, tangent over. But seriously, great work and much appreciated! 🤗

Kelly I so appreciate you sharing this!!! I really tried to come from a beginner’s point of view, so I’m glad that came across. Congrats on the blankets you’ve made this far!!! They make fabulous gifts!

THANK YOU!!! I Am glad I found you. I had the same concerns that you said at the beginning of your video and I pulled my blanket apart multiple times and all those videos out there were not answering my questions about how to transition to the second row and on and how to close it off properly… people didn’t show the techniques up close and personal and they were going too fast. Your video was amazing and perfect I felt as if we were making the blanket together in a class. My blanket has never looked so perfect I love it. Thanks again

Girl! I see this is a year old but THANK YOU for the clearer more concise direction. I was ready to give up, thinking I couldn't do it, I just couldn't get it. Tutorial after tutorial no success. Then I came across this one and now my sister has an only half jacked up looking quilt for Christmas! LOL! On behalf of the craftily inept don't ever take this thing down. Merry Christmas! And Happy New Year!

See how you rotated the direction of the yarn? Some people don’t do that & that’s exactly where it can get tricky for beginners like me. Thank you 🥰

This was nice. I'm gonna try and do one. Very detailed you did a great job. I'm new to your channel. My nephew wants me to make him some underwear. I don't know how to do that, but I'm going to try. He is being funny so I'm going to do it to let him know not to play with me.

Do the corners have to be rounded or is there a way to make them more straight edge? It looks like the first chains on each side aren’t as long as the other rows even tho they are. Is there anyway to make the whole thing look more squared at the corners?

Thanks for the great video! I am with you on the corners. I didn't do my corners correctly because I did not pick up that detail in other videos. So my question is are my two sides going to fall apart? Is there away to fix that or do I just leave it? Side note the rest of my blanket turned out amazing. Glad I found your video before I make the rest of them for my grandbabies!

Hi! Loved your video, my blanket is looking great. Quick question- what do you do with the little tail that you started with? Just tuck in somehow?
@dreacrandell4883 жыл бұрын
Hi! Yes I tuck it in the rest of the fabric. Sometimes I got glue the tail so it stays!

I think if you make your loops smaller (2") you will make the gauge smaller and closer together. Your toes will be happier.

I feel your pain. A few months ago I was so angry and mad bc I couldn’t do it. I tried so hard and ruined my work so so many times. But trust me, you just have to keep trying. You will do it! You have to believe in yourself. I tried to look on the bright side of crocheting/knitting and it really helped me. Keep going and keep trying, because once you make even one good stitch or two, your going to feel so proud of yourself. Don’t give up. 🙃😁
