That moment or terror before you simulate and the feeling of excitement after realizing it worked! Why am I enjoying this emotional roller coaster!? LOL I never imagined I would have this much fun. Geeking out for sure!

I was following until you started sewing the waistband on the pants. I couldn't follow that because I couldn't tell if something was being sewed twice or not. The top of the waistband looks like it was sewn multiple times to different places.

Hello - Here is another waistband tutorial that is a similar technique and might help you. kzbin.info/www/bejne/l4eTc62Za9WLmKs

Hard to understand. What do you mean by the length of the spec and the length of the pants? (The elastic waistband part) does it mean you put the measurements on the segment length or total length? And, I see no stretch difference for the puckering tool. It just applying texture.

How can i have those top stitches in hardware and trim cause my library is blank? Thank you
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
In your Library, at the top there is an icon for downloading; this will check your current library and see what is missing. The icon looks like a tray with an arrow pointing down. You can do this any time to check OR when you see blue dots next to the categories in your Library this means there is new content.

Super helpful, thanks! Please would you have a fabric recommendation for the elastic used inside of waistbands? Thanks! C
@CLO3D Жыл бұрын
Currently elastic is applied to segment/internal lines. We do not have a fabric/material that behaves like elastic.

how to sew the waistband on the practice file of True Elastic Waistband?
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
This technique is for replicating the elastic effect. There is not a true fully elastic material.

Hi, thank you for this video. It seems as if the waistband is missing from the men's elastic short file.

It is in the "Quick Elastic Band" Project file.

In the first example why are my lines not marked in the same way? In the same way when I press simulate, the seams disappear. Can anybody help me?
@CLO3D Жыл бұрын
It is the Topstitching Disappearing. Because each stitch is an individual OBJ (Object File) it take too much processing power to have them simulate. So CLO temporarily remove them visually during Simulation and then beings them back when you turn Simulation off. If you need to see them you can change a topstitch from OBJ to Texture, but I think OBJ looks best. And if you ever Render or animate they will be there in final renders

@@modestaph3082 So sorry to hear you are struggling. If you are unable to update to a newer version, it may be because your hardware is not adequate; this may also be the cause of the slow speed.

@CLO3D4 жыл бұрын
Are you in CLO or in Marvelous Designer? MD does not have puckering. If you are in CLO and cannot see it you might just need to expand/open the side panel wider. There are also little arrows to scroll over to the tabs that may be hidden.

When you select a pattern piece or segment line, the elastic properties are in the property editor.

There are a few factors at play here; what fabric is in use? What is the particle distance? Is the pattern the same size as in the video?
