I can’t move the pinned sections with the hand grabby tool. Selected areas only move when on I’m using Pin (Box). During simulation, the selected areas seem to be frozen.
@oliviafierro78153 жыл бұрын
Make sure to select the pinned sections of the belt separately (ie one end, the back, the other end), if not and you hold shift to select them all the tool will treat the pinned sections as one object and you wont be able to move the ends individually.

@Olivia Fierro is correct. Thanks for your help!

For those with the same issue: after simulating, re-select the pin box tool and use that to move the sections.

I'm using the most recent download of clue 3D from July /2/24 and I'm having a issue using the select mesh tool in this first part of the tutorial. In this section I'm being able to use that select mesh tool to then pull that specific section of the pattern piece out so that way I can demerge it from crashing with the body avatar. However when I use the select mesh tool in the two D window and select the portion I feel like the front and back pattern and then when I go to pull it out it's completely deslet everything how do I fix this or how do I select the part that's been highlighted to pull out?

If you are selecting first in 2D you must make sure to the click directly on it (the bright green) in 3D as the next step. If you click on anything else it will be deselected

I realized that there are side belt loops on the dress. How can we adjust the belt through the belt loops so to look more realistic??? Thank you!
@CLO3D Жыл бұрын
This relates to advanced styling; search for tying belts/knots here as the techniques can be used in a similar way.

Although I struggled for almost an hour and end up not getting the knot done, though it is kind stupid that we had to drag it through
@CLO3D8 ай бұрын
This is just teaching and showing one way you can make a knot in CLO. Many find other ways that work for them. But remember it is all about practice :)

how do we move the belt through the fabric loop on the side? above method seems impossible.
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
This is an advanced technique that takes practice. Here is another video that will help with practice of tying that will help. kzbin.info/www/bejne/jqLUan-Iic99qpY

Did you lower the Particle Distance? This is the most important thing.

How can I render image with half mesh and half fabric like your thumbnail? Or are there any way to render all product as mesh?
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
This relates to the way the garment is constructed and how you create your fabrics.
@minhcent3 жыл бұрын
@@CLO3D Thanks for you response. The mesh I'm talking about is the particle distance, but shown as mesh, not the fabric. I also see the Part 1, Lesson 7 thumbnail also have the dress shown as mesh. I tried everything I can but when I render the result always show my fabrics. Wish you could help me with this.
@CLO3D3 жыл бұрын
@@minhcent Oh! I'm sorry I misunderstood. You can take a Snapshot of the 3D Window while you have your garment and/or avatar showing mesh.

@@CLO3D Yes that's what I need. Thank you very much!
