A lot of films will actually have the colour on the casing of what colours will be stronger in the photos. Like the Kodak casing has a yellow casing and the fuji green. I know iflord may do it for their film too.

I have recently discovered several different film cameras I have been given from family members through the years. I have always had a fascination with filming and cameras in general. I loved them when I was a kid and my parents took our VHS camcorder to the beach :) My favorite memories growing up involve having a disposal camera on hand. My family and I would buy a pack of Kodaks and take them everywhere! I love looking through the physical copy of a photo rather than always scrolling through my phone. I love the nostalgia I experience when looking through a box of old family pictures and reliving the memory just a bit ❤

Aww couldn't have been put in nicer words! I also love the sense of nostalgia that is evoked from an album of photos or a video recording that forever preserves a moment of the past! There is something so magical about them 💫

You don't need to turn the camera on, you simply have to to turn the dial before you want to take a photo. As for indoors and outdoors, there isn't much difference apart from using flash - which is dependent on wether if you have sufficient natural lighting. Hope that helps! :))

@anniel1372
@anniel1372 3 жыл бұрын
I would say if it’s outdoors on a bright day then it’s alright to not have flash on, but indoors I would recommend most of the time to have flash on, unless it’s super well lit with lots of natural lighting. Then it shouldn’t be too much of an issue if you don’t have flash on! Hope that helps :)

@anniel1372
@anniel1372 3 жыл бұрын
Generally I think that depends on the camera, because i know that the kodak fun saver makes a small click sound but the fujifilm waterproof quicksnap doesn't. But if you're ever in doubt, if you have winded properly, clicked and need to wind again for the next photo, it will have most likely worked. Also if you're using flash, and the flash goes off as you press to take the photo, then that should also mean it's good!

Thanks! Could be caused by many factors which can include an issue from the lighting (perhaps flash settings or natural lighting), or from the film you're using and how suitable it is for what environment you're trying to capture!

Nope, disposable cameras can only be used up to a certain amount of films/pictures! Once you get your roll of film developed, they're usually not reusable again. You can try looking at reusable film cameras if you would like to reuse the camera and refill with new film rolls. :)

hey! i was wondering if its possible for me to use multiple disposable cameras over the course of the year and not get them developed until a year later? I want to take photos throughout my senior year and develop them at the end, but idk if the film like expires or smth lol that would be sad
@anniel1372
@anniel1372 2 жыл бұрын
that sounds like a super cute idea! i know film does expire but i think one year should be okay, although it might be better to double check to see if it says on the packaging or from where you buy it. Another idea is just developing it after you're done and forcing yourself to not look at it until the end of the year !
