I got a few more, but very few. I was wondering if Casper’s age is based on that movie or how old he was when he died and became a ghost. I know Casper the Friendly Ghost from my childhood and I am nearly 76 years old.

Hey Jen! I saved $21 for Hello Honey today. Prayers for all of the people that are dealing with the destruction from the storm! We drove through some of the towns here in Georgia and lots of people are banding together and helping each other. Saw lots of people in food lines and others helping clear out trees and debris. Our church gathered together food items and necessities to help the ones suffering. We all may be trying to save our money here but there are so many that hv lost everything as well as family members. I can say that it is truly better to give than to receive. My heart and my prayers go out to all people - my fellow brothers and sisters suffering at this time...know that there is an army of people thinking about you and praying for you. ❤

Hi Jenn! I saved $4.25 on HH! I’m in medical leave for approximately 3 months, so I have to lower my savings until I return to work. Most of my spending is in cash, my variable spending is 90% lower since I’ve been home! I’m definitely continuing much lower variable spending once I’m back to work! Good morning Jen❤ Thank you for this!! As of today, I have three binders. One for my weekly spending, one for savings challenges, and one 100 envelope challenge. I also used envelopes for sinking funds! Thankfully, I have a printer and lamination machine, so I will be printing out your freebies for savings challenges insteading of buying them for now 😂. I absolutely love this video (& ive been budgeting for quite a while), it was so nice to see a start to finish for freebie savings challenges. I've put a temp pause on my savings challenges right now just until I get everything squared away from Hurricane Helene. I faired very well comparatively, I just have to restock my fridge/freezer & check freezer, comp deductible & rental car outta pocket for my repairs. Im so grateful a. I have a feasible deductible b. My vehicle is repairable c. My area didn't have severe flooding!!

The money is just going to the bank so I can send the tithe. I just used the cash to illustrate how to save money when using savings challenges. I hope that doesn’t confuse anyone. I did not have any extra income this week for savings challenges so I did this video instead.

I had to have some car repairs done recently(twice) between the two visits it's come to over $1550 in less than a month, I do not have that much in liquid assets, so I had to charge it on a credit card. I need to get back into the groove of cash budgeting and funding my sinking funds and as a single mom who makes about $40k a year, it has not been easy when hiccups like these occur. I am tempted to restart my KZbin channel to document my journey and keep me motivated to get this under control.

Hi Jenn! I’m filling out your financial snapshot forms to set up my budget. Where do I put bills that are not due every month such as insurances, Audible, water bill, etc. I’ve figured out how much to allow per pay period but is it a fixed expense or variable expense? Love your videos! I’ve been following a plan for about 3 months but I need to revamp and reorganize! Thank you for all of your help!

If it’s a quarterly bill- I would divide the full amount by 3 and add the amount needed monthly. If it is annual, divide by 12 and write that in. And so on. As a monthly bill- That way you are automatically setting up sinking funds for those and you aren’t getting hit all at once.

No I don’t think it really matters because it’s all getting deducted from the same income. If you want to know where I would place it- I would put those as fixed expenses, bills. I think of variable expenses as things like gas, groceries, etc/ No actual due date.

I have the fiskars one with the wire in it. It's very hard to see the wire. I have to have a light right over it to make it easier to see. Wish they would have thought to use a colored wire to make it more easily seen. I'm going to try some liquid paper and put a few small dabs on the wire. Hopefully that will make it easier to see if your paper is in there straight.

Hi Jenn 😊 Lexxi here! I’m on the mission of officially starting my KZbin channel (as you see my page is all set up!) I just have to start posting my first video! So exciting and scary at the same time. I have a question: When printing savings challenges on cardstock, which ones do you suggest we use? As in the thickness of the cardstock like the 180gsm (I’m assuming this is just like normal thin paper), 250gsm or 300gsm? Thanks!

Hey there! So exciting !! I can’t wait to see what you do on your channel! So cardstock is an interesting thing. I honestly have no clue about weights and gsm. And I am still trying different kinds. I buy WalMart brand “premium” card stock and I do like it. It stays flexible enough to go in and out envelopes but sturdy at the same time. I would say to buy like 3 different kinds and try them. See which one you like. You have to hold them in your hand after laminating, flex them, pull in and out of the envelopes. You’ll find your one that you like. For reference- mine says 110 lb.
