If you aren't going to cut the videos could you at least put time flags in? For example you could have in the description; 00:00 - 14:30 Bee Shrimp Parameters 14:30 - 25:00 Types of Bee Shrimp Etc... Just a thought for those of us that don't have an hour spare. The other thing is that loading a 1 hour video is killing my mobile data. You'd get more views with shorter vids focusing on 1 topic.

Rob, thanks for all of the great info. I have guppies in a ten gallon tank. I will be setting up a larger tank for them and want to use the 10 for my first shrimp. I have a sponge filter started for the shrimp already and low tech plants already growing including lots of java moss. The tank has regular aquarium gravel. Should I switch this out for sand substrate or can I just cover the existing gravel. My gravel is tan and not the best color for viewing shrimp. Thanks.

So why do you say no ramshorn snails? Also you said corydoras should be taken species by species. I have bronze and marble Cory's would they be ok with shrimp?

To add my opinion about plants and muscle necrosis/bacterial infection. For plants, no shrimp don't eat them but sweep the biofilm and algae off the surface. For the diseases I use indian almond and dwarf banana leaves. They help a lot, but if a shrimp is already affected, they will die soon, and other will eat their carcass, so remove immediately!

So I made a bog tank in a 40 breeder. The filter is made of a three gallon pickle bucket burried in soil. I put a fe cherry shrimp in it. Now the filter is like a hive for cherries. Any idea on how to get them out of the bucket? It's a permanent filter and would involve tearing the system apart it's not a option.

I have a 75 gallon planted community tank with several different species of fish in it. I also have 3 amano shrimp in the tank, that are going on 3 years old. The amanos forage for their food, and do very well. Are there any other shrimp species that would do well in this environment?

JH here. I was looking at your site. My goal right now is getting 10 yellow king Kongs and 10 royal blues or royal blue tigers. Heyo! Wanting to raise thriving neocardinas and I have hard tap water which I currently de-chlorinate with conditioner. I'm going to get a gh/kh test kit but let's just say I check and the hardness is already spot on with my tap water. Would you recommend I continue to condition my tap water OR use RO water and remineralize. Can I have neos or tigers thrive and breed with conditioned tap water? This would help me a lot for future plans. Thanks!

Flip Aquatics, my gH is 6 and my kH is 2 using NT Labs Aquarium Lab and I am going to be putting German Blue Rams in my 29 gallon which has about 25 gallons of water after the substrate and ornaments. Would nano fish and shrimps be able to live and thrive with the GBRs?

jackfoo2 they most likely are getting a bacterial infection and this is causing them to die. Make sure your tank water is clean
