How do you do the fast homing cap throw 2:25?

When you throw cappy three times consecutively the third throw will be faster, it's called a "triple throw", and by shaking the controller immediately cappy will come back fast so I can rainbow spin and get distance while losing minimal height

Try doing Cascade skip. It is a skip when you backflip from the big rock by the 2D Section, wall jump off of the bones, and just barely make it onto the ribs of the fossil

How do you get that extra cappy throw? I know if you push a when it returns you get en extra air stall but how do you get 3? Does it invole motion controls?

Every time Mario jumps, he can cap bounce and rainbow spin once without touching the ground again, but you can cap throw three times you just have to get it in time

Throw cappy after cap bouncing, and if you shake the controller after cappy reaches the max distance he will come back to you. If you press b when cappy returns to Mario he will rainbow spin, and yeah then you throw immediately after

@@Envixity236 Actually the way you did it is more effective. Also try throwing crappy three times in a row, and the third throw will be faster, immediately shake and cappy will come back. That’s called a triple throw, and it’s good for getting distance but not height, however snow dram needs some decent height, and that’s why it’s not as good

Really well done! Your commentary style is entertaining too which makes watching the jumps even better. I just got into running odyssey a few days ago, and trickjumping. I'm curious about the snapshot tech you and a lot of runners/jumpers seem to be using? I've used snapshot to get better camera angles before, but i can't figure out what you all use it for when you are about to land jumps, and google didn't help me.

This is one of the most asked questions lol, but in simple explanations, most trickjumpers take a few hours to get a tough jump, and most of the time they don't land, so they snapshot to see how close they get when they bonk, but sometimes we snapshot but then land it. Hope this explains :)

When I do a trickjump, 99% of the time it's not going to be a successful attempt on an elite trickjump. We usually use snapshot mode to see how close we got to landing, but sometimes while we do that, we actually land the jump lol
